Varanasi

Our trip to India ended with the city of Varanasi.
A very mystic city where indian incinerated their deceased family member along the Ganges by burning big quantities of wood. Between 100 and 250 bodies are incinerated every day, all day and all night long. Hindu believe that if they are incinerated in Varanasi, they will directly go to heaven. We have seen very interesting characters along the river and the atmosphere was quite unique.

Notre voyage en Inde s'est terminé avec la ville de Varanasi. Une ville très mystique où les indiens incinèrent leurs défunts le long du Ganges en brûlant de grandes quantités de bois. Entre 100 et 250 personnes sont incinérées tous les jours, nuits et jours. Dans la religion hindou, une personne incinérée à Varanasi va directement au paradis.
Nous avons croisés de très intéressants personnages le long du Ganges. L'atmosphère y est vraiment unique.
