Mysore

We took a 14 hours night train from Madurai to Mysore. Our first impression was that the city is much cleaner than Madurai, with much larger streets and avenues. Less traffic... Less chaotic. The maharaja of Mysore died 3 days ago, so they cancelled some...

Madurai

We are now in Madurai, city of temples, 350 km East of Cochin. We travelled by night train and it took 12 hours. The train goes extremely south of India before heading north again, making a 700 km trip. All I can say is that the night was short! :) We...

Arriving in India, Cochin

Going around Langkawi

The island is around 20 km long and does not have a good public transport, so we rented a car, a tiny one with steering wheel on the right so I could drive on the left side. Easier than I thought! I'm totally used to it! Today we went to a new waterfall...

Langkawi

We arrived in Langkawi 3 days ago, so far, it has been raining almost all day every day. Today only, the weather cleared up so we could see the true colors of the island. We really enjoyed a small pool by a waterfall where we could cool down. Really peaceful!...

Second and third day in George Town
